Enjoy high tea like no other at Dinkins bakery Monaghan, enjoy freshly baked scones, pastries and sandwiches while you get together all in aid of Crocus.There will be goodie bags for all attendees and bubbles on arrival! This is a private event to be held upstairs in Dinkins bakery.

Here’s just a a few words of thanks to all involved in our beard Shave fundraiser for Crocus Cancer Care. Thank you to the Northern standard for advertising it every week Rory Geary for all the photo’s , Northern sound for all the air time they give it on the radio, R & S printers for our posters, the committee who organised ciaran mc phillips award night in aghabog who raised €1010, to all the business who sponsored us or give us spot prizes, to you the people of County Monaghan and beyond for your generosity without you this total could not have been reached.Thank you to Raymond and the Squealing Pig for hosting the event, Stephanie ,Philomena and Marie from Cecils hair salon for shaving us on the night, Caroline Corrigan for supplying us with aloe vera creams for after the Shave. Thanks to any other people or business who collected money on our behalf there is too many to list,you all know who you’se are & thank you. Thank you to Crocus for their help over the month they are a fantastic group of ladies who do great work. Finally a massive thank you to the postmen/staff of monaghan D.S.U for your time and effort over the month of November/Movember you’se are a great group and reached a great total of €29,282, hopefully I didn’t leave anybody out, but we will put a write up in the standard this week again a big THANK YOU

Donation from the Blackwater 10k Run

Thank you so much to all involved in the Blackwater 10k run, on the day they raised over €3,000 €1,500 for CROCUS and €1,500 for the Monaghan Mens shed, the men's shed very kindly decided to give CROCUS €500 from their donation, as they said they are so very impressed on how CROCUS is run, thank you so much to each and everyone of you, a very special thank you to Eamon Hackett for all your hard work and thanks for keeping us in the loop with this fab fundraiser, we had the cheque presentations this evening, and a big thank you to Rory Geary and Peadar mc Mahon for attending our photo shoot this evening, you both never let us down xxx
